Anne was not considered beautiful in her time. This was blonde haired women with pale skin. She has dark hair and an olive-toned complexion. Her neck, which was long and elegant, was said to be her best feature.

Personality:
CARING:
Anne is a pious individual, but unlike some, she is not rigid and hard or unforgiving about it. She wanted her ladies to be respectable and left the bible in her room for any who wanted to read it. When she found them looking over poems, she chided them and told them instead to look through the bible for words of wisdom and guidance, but she only chided. Her views were more tolerable and this was what she strove to advance. She quite clearly loves her daughter and she could be very kind to those in need. Anne wanted to breastfeed her child, but Henry told her that this was not what a Queen did. While she wanted to have more to do with her daughter, she was given her own household and there was nothing that Anne could do about it. Anne took the opportunities that she could to see her daughter and she quite clearly doted on her only living child. She gave to the poor at times, helping them, giving them more than the old Queen did. When her attendant became sick, Anne stayed with her and mourned for her loss. She speaks of the King kindly although in truth he really wasn’t, and she made sure that if something were to happen to her, that her daughter would be looked after.

AMBITIOUS:
Her sister went to the king's bed, only to be out of favour shortly after. Anne did not want this for herself but instead wanted something more. She wanted to be Queen. This is something that her father desired, and early in the show it was he who pushed Anne toward this end. Their family would know greater wealth and prosperity of the king looked happily upon them. Anne is also quite politically minded and was well read in a variety of ways. One of these was religion, and she is shown to have introduced the king to new books, in which the king is not bound by the church but is only answerable to God. She also gave favour to this Lutheran cause and because of her they were able to advance further. Yet, in her time of need, none of these people came forth to help her. It was shown that her father did push her often, and blamed her for her miscarriages and her inability to produce a male heir. He thought that Anne worried too hard about things that she shouldn't worry about, such as the king taking a new mistress. He told Anne that the issue should be more about whether they could control the mistress. While she initially has no feelings for him, Anne soon comes to have true feelings for the king and it drives her ambitions even further.

ARROGANT:
She is a very confident woman and this shows in how she carries herself. What most people would admit to is that she was a very spirited individual. She is vivacious and could draw people to her. While put together, she can also be a storm and there is nothing meek about her. Although she is short in stature, she is big in personality. She is not a wallflower and would work to get what she wants. Anne is a well-read woman, and knows quite a few languages. She is intelligent and she is also witty, which makes her quite clever and conniving. Anne is a woman of considerable personality and this is widely known. In other times, she could be considered a mover and a shaker. Her personality is the type to get things done. Compared to others at the time, Anne is not considered a woman of great beauty. Her skin is olive-toned and she has dark hair and eyes, which is against blonde hair and blue eyes. None of this seems to stop her though and she was not above bulldogging her way through the court. Called a whore by many, she was haughty enough to keep moving forward to get what she wanted, and she played the game well. She kept the king's attentions and interest on her and even worked to get the crown for herself.

RUTHLESS:
Anne is an adventurous spirit who grew to hold much influence. She could be very kind but on the flip side she could also be very ruthless. The traits that drew Henry to her would eventually come to annoy him. She was not a meek woman in the least and did not take well to being defied. She was a very capable woman and also quite independent, who had a dry wit and was perceptive. While she did not want to die, she did die with grace and those there knelt before her. Compared to her sister, Anne was more spirited. In the court, it was very much a survival of the fittest atmosphere and her family put much pressure on her for their own aspirations. She could be very judgmental and could also be quite harsh. It was those pressures from her family, specifically her father and her uncle, that had Anne clawing for any scraps that she could obtain. She was threatened and cajoled into keeping Henry's attention and to keeping the Boleyns in power. It didn't help that there were many in Henry's court that didn't like her, her family, or their religious aspirations.
